December 20–22, 2024 Ban Moosi School (Year 2)
Nakhon Ratchasima Province
In 2024, The Build Foundation, lead by Ms. Marisa Chearavanont along with a team of Thai and international volunteers, returned to Ban Moosi School in Pak Chong District, Nakhon Ratchasima, to continue its mission of improving the quality of life for underprivileged youth.
Following the successful renovation of the first classroom building in the previous year, the Foundation proceeded this year with the restoration of the second classroom building, which is over 47 years old and had fallen into disrepair. The goal was to make the building safe, stable, and functional once again, while preserving its original structure and architectural character.

This second building accommodates students from Grades 4–6 and includes newly renovated special-purpose classrooms, such as a computer room, a science room, and a traditional Thai dance room. These spaces were redesigned to support holistic education and to nurture students’ interests and potential.
Solar panels were also installed on the building through the support of Charoenkrung Engineering Co., Ltd., providing clean energy and helping reduce the school’s electricity expenses. The building’s renovation was designed by Vin Varavarn Architects, using a soothing grey-and-white palette that reflects the school’s original identity in a modern, harmonious way.
In addition, The Build Foundation continued its partnership with the Chef Cares Foundation for the second consecutive year, organizing hands-on culinary skill-building activities for students. These included jam-making workshops using local fruits like ma mao (Antidesma) and mulberries, food booth demonstrations led by professional chefs, and the creation of nutritious recipes—all aimed at inspiring youth to explore future careers in the culinary arts.
This ongoing initiative reflects The Build Foundation’s long-term commitment to creating equitable learning environments and unlocking opportunities for children in remote communities.
